Preconstruction Approach

Smarter Starts Through Meticulous Planning

Our goal at Harper is to establish client-centric relationships at the earliest stage of the project possible, whether the project is Design-Build or involves working alongside the client’s chosen design team.  Harper has the experience, historical data, and advanced technology integration to provide our clients with proven, reliable preconstruction services. Our process is as follows:

  1. Feasibility Study – Utilizing our current database, we offer our clients a quick feasibility study to help them understand the project’s health, constraints, and potential outcomes.
  2. Schematic Design Budget – Based on a Schematic Design, our preconstruction team can seek trade partner pricing to tighten up the accuracy of the budget before our client commits to the full design cost. Depending on the ever-fluctuating supply chain, we can also commit to early release packages after this budget round to ensure pricing and schedule adherence.
  3. Final Pricing – As the final plans are completed, we will obtain final pricing to confirm the Schematic Design Budget, get to contract, and get to work.
