Pinehurst, NC (Friday, October 10, 2025) — Harper General Contractors, working in collaboration with McMillan Pazdan Smith Architects, is pleased to announce a “Halfway Home” celebration and project tour marking the 50% completion milestone of the SanStone Health & Rehabilitation nursing facility in Pinehurst, NC. The event will bring together project partners, community leaders, and stakeholders for a look at our progress to date.

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina, the newest facility in the SanStone portfolio, is designed as a 100-bed nursing and rehabilitation center featuring private luxury suites, modern amenities, and therapeutic features. Some of these unique features include a HydroWorx rehabilitation pool with underwater treadmill capabilities, an indoor golf simulator, and a stationary car to assist patients with getting in and out of a vehicle. The facility is intended to set a new standard for quality rehabilitation in the region.

“This celebration is a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come – and to encourage everyone on the team to push through to completion with the same energy and attention to detail that brought us here,” shares Hootie Solesbee, VP of Preconstruction for Harper General Contractors. “We’re proud to be building a facility that will serve this community for decades to come.”

Jennifer Robinson, President and CEO for SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, added, “This milestone represents more than just progress — it’s a reflection of our shared commitment to care, community, and connection. The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina will be a place where residents feel valued and supported, and where our team can continue doing what we love most — making a difference in the lives of others.”

The “Halfway Home” event reaffirms the collective commitment of all parties to deliver this facility to the standards set forth in the preconstruction phase. As Harper continues construction, further milestones, including the ribbon-cutting and facility opening, will bring this team closer to providing high-quality care in Pinehurst.
