Celebrating 15 Years of Harper’s Environmental Systems Division

News

This year marks a milestone for Harper General Contractors as we celebrate the 15th anniversary of our Environmental Systems Division (ESD). What began as a bold vision to support our communities in the Upstate has grown into a trusted partner for clients across the Southeast, delivering projects that enhance the essential systems we all depend on every day.

ESD was founded with a mission to become the premier provider of environmental construction in the region. The original business plan called for a division that would exceed expectations through safety, quality, collaboration, technological expertise, and sustainable leadership. Fifteen years later, that vision continues to guide our work.

“The trust we have built with our clients has been the foundation of every successful project and long-term relationships,” shares Bryan Royal, ESD Founder and current Executive Vice President of Harper.

At the heart of ESD’s culture are three words that continue to define the division: Purpose. Passion. People.

  • Purpose – The water and wastewater industry is a very special community – it’s full of people who care deeply about making a difference and we remain committed to supporting those communities and people every day.
  • Passion – We love the work we do and are energized by the impact it has on the communities we serve.
  • People – Above all, we value people – the teammates who make up our division, the clients we serve, and the communities who benefit from the work.

In addition to this exciting milestone, our headquarters location in Greenville, SC has now expanded operations and moved from Coffee St. to McBee Ave.

“Our new office space is a result of significant growth over the last 15 years, especially across North and South Carolina,” shares Mike Odom, Vice President of ESD. “As we grow, we are taking the same drive, commitment, and culture that built this division to guide it into the future.”

As we celebrate this milestone, we thank our clients, our partners, and our teammates whose hard work has brought ESD to where it is today. Here’s to the future of Harper’s Environmental Systems Division.
