Originally opened in 1925, Mayberry Park has long held deep meaning for the surrounding communities. Since opening in August 2025, the field has supported a full spring season of Greenville Little League baseball and softball. During the summer, it is used for camps and clinics. The remodel stands on the same footprint, preserving its legacy while creating modern opportunities for connection and play.
The revitalized field features grandstand bleachers, dugouts, a press box, a concession building, batting tunnels, LED field lighting, a large scoreboard, and a landscaped outfield designed to welcome anyone. Funded through a public-private partnership and supported by community leaders, the project reflects a shared commitment to honoring history and investing in Greenville’s future.
