Harper was selected to construct the new 40,000 SF Dobbs Equipment John Deere facility on a 12-acre site along the I-85 corridor in Spartanburg, SC. Built in partnership with ANF Architects, the facility provides a highly visible location that serves customers throughout the Upstate and supports Dobbs Equipment’s growing operations.
Designed to accommodate the sale, service, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment, the facility includes office and sales spaces, a 9,500 SF parts warehouse, and a 15,000 SF, 10-bay service shop. The service area is equipped with two 10-ton bridge cranes and twelve 22′ x 20′ overhead doors, allowing technicians to efficiently service large equipment such as dozers, articulated dump trucks, motor graders, and other heavy machinery. The project also included approximately 2.5 acres of heavy-duty concrete paving to support equipment traffic and operations, as well as a half-acre demonstration area where customers can test equipment prior to purchase.
