News

Harper General Contractors is proud to announce a remarkable safety achievement: reaching 5 million consecutive safe work hours. Reached in June 2025, this milestone shows Harper’s unwavering commitment to a culture of safety, one that is deeply embedded in every phase of our work.

“At Harper, safety isn’t a box we check. It’s a core value that defines how we operate every single day,” shared David Wise, President and CEO of Harper. “This milestone is more than a statistic—it’s a reflection of the trust, accountability, and vigilance our people bring to every jobsite. We’re grateful to our teammates, trade partners, and clients for sharing in this responsibility and making safety a collective priority.”

Achieving 5 million safe hours is no small feat. It represents years of consistent effort, proactive planning, and pouring time and talent into risk prevention. We are passionate about building responsibly and safely. “From day one, Harper has invested in the tools and training needed to make prioritizing safety second nature for everyone who steps onto our sites. This investment is strongly supported by our leadership,” shared Brandt Goodwin, Senior Director of Human Resources and Safety.

Our teammates are our greatest asset. By fostering a culture where people feel seen, heard, and supported, we’ve built an environment where speaking up and looking out for one another is the norm. Harper’s commitment to safety spans everything we do. Safety First. Every Project. Every Time.

We recognize and thank our teammates, trade partners, and clients for helping us reach this milestone and for continuing to make safety a shared value. Together, we’ve proven that 5 million safe hours isn’t just possible – it’s the result of doing the right thing, the right way, every time.
