Harper successfully completed upgrades for two wastewater treatment plants in the Greenwood Metropolitan District: West Alexander WWTP and Wilson Creek WWTP. At West Alexander, the project involved constructing new headworks to enhance capacity and address issues caused by outdated technology. This included advanced screening and grit removal systems, despite the challenge posed by complex concrete structures and flow diversion. At Wilson Creek, three outdated screw pumps were replaced with new high-capacity models, marking the first installation of their kind in North America. These upgrades improved the efficiency and reliability of the wastewater system, benefiting the Greenwood community with better service and lower operational costs.
