Harper partnered with SJWD and Black and Veatch to finalize design and construct the Rogers Bridge Road (4MGD) and Little Chicago Pump Stations (3MGD). Analysis included routing of the linework in relation to Interstate 85 and the location of the pump stations relative to the water treatment plant. Harper’s team was the coordinating contractor for the linework and self-performed the majority of the pump station and equipment installation at Rogers Bridge Road. At Little Chicago, the Harper team installed two horizontal split-case centrifugal pumps and adjustable frequency drives to complete the 3MGD booster pump station. Scope of work included a standby generator and associated piping and appurtenances. Together, these pump stations represent a continued partnership between SJWD, Black and Veatch, and Harper that began when Harper completed the expansion of SJWD’s existing membrane facility.
